Sunday 11th October is The Other Partizan show at Newark Showground, Notts, UK, and it’s a very special one for me. Having showcased my Midgard Heroic Battles rules over the last few years, I’m doing it again, but without a single figure from my collection on the table!
Instead, I’m helping to run a massive version of the 1066 Battle of Hastings for the Hastings 960 project in conjunction with Peter’s Paperboys, using 16,000 miniatures – one for every warrior at the battle. I’ve just posted a full article about this which you can read here, including the Forces that we’re using for Midgard.
There are also three other Midgard Heroic Battles games at the show and I’ll put out another post later in the week to let you know about those.
You can find the game at Table DG13 – look for the 15′ long hill and Hastings 960 and Midgard banners.
If you’re not at the show, we’ll have plenty of pictures and video to follow!
