I held off gaming the twentieth century for many years, but here it is: a delve into three periods of history that I found myself unable to ignore. Despite considering other scales (and a brief dabble in 15mm WW2), I ended up doing most of these projects with 28mm miniatures. Having just written that, I’ve realised it’s not strictly true, as the WW1 gaming resulted in collecting 12mm and 54mm figures as well! I’m nothing if not consistently inconsistent.
