After many years gaming in the medieval world with minimal sources, I very much enjoyed my first forays into this period which were encouraged by rules sets such as Death in the Dark Continent and Muskets & Tomahawks. The increased number of written and visual records that have survived from the 1700s and 1800s really helps to bring this period to life on the wargames table. Here you will find my excursions into Colonial America – both East and West Coast – and, in time, some of my African projects.
