I’ve finally finished editing my video of the Attack on Northampton during the Second Barons’ War. Back in July, Midgard chum Lee Sanders came up to (very) sunny Nottingham to play through this scenario from the À Montfort! À Montfort! Goblet-Size Campaign using Midgard Heroic Battles. This is my first crack at a longer format battle report (normally my videos are a briefer summary, this one’s a full hour).

Apologies if the sound is a bit variable, we were playing next to a working office and the lovely glass display cabinets do make the sound bounce around. The scenario was good fun; I’ve played this one multiple times and the result with Lee was the closest I’ve had. Fighting through the breach in the wall at Northampton made for quite a challenge, as Henry lll and his mates found out! Many thanks to Lee for making the trip to Nottingham, North Star for kindly hosting us and Paul Scrivens-Smith for the loan of his super miniatures collection.
