And while I’m at it, let’s see some Dwarves!

These are the new ‘Classic Fantasy Battles Grand Scale’ range from Wargames Atlantic of which you get 246 minis in a box for £32.50! I really enjoyed the previous Orc release (see my painting video on these here) and have immediately bought a couple of boxes of the Dwarven Host for Midgard Heroic Battles.

I’m basing these on 80 x 40mm bases for Midgard – you can see the process in the Orc video. I shall undoubtedly get a Dwarf painting video put together at some point in the next few weeks.

Photo backgrounds are Jon Hodgson Backdrops, in this case from the A3 original backdrops book.
These look great for 10mm. I had a friend who could paint fishnet stockings on a 15mm nun but it’s all I can do to put a half decent paint job on a 28. Well done, man. Cheers!

Many thanks! I really like these. I suspect they might paint up well using paint markers too, especially as my technique basically involves dotting paint on.

My friend got me a set of paint markers but I haven’t tried them out yet. Gotta do this, gotta do that…

I was excited for these until I saw the oddly thick shields.
Why do they look like they’re carrying bass drums?

I’m not quite sure why some of the shields are that chunky, but I assume it’s down to production processes. To be honest, with a black undercoat (and leaving the backs black while I paint the front of the shields), I hardly notice it from a few feet away.
