What is there to say? I was introduced to Tolkien’s quintessential fantasy world by the BBC Radio dramatisation of The Lord of the Rings, closely followed by the Ralph Bakshi animated movie and then reading the books, the early Citadel Miniatures range, roleplaying games and the incredible artwork of John Howe, Alan Lee and Ted Naismith. The list goes on!
