Hundred Years’ War with Lord Raglan

Here’s some shots of my visit to Lord Raglan’s gaming shed! We played a mini-campaign of two linked scenarios focusing around a hypothetical Franco-Scottish raid on England around 1346.

We’re playing around with a few period-specific rules for Midgard Heroic Battles which worked well and gave us a couple of fierce fights with plenty of friction and leaders being captured.

Everything here was painted by Gareth Lane from a wide variety of 28mm manufacturers, including Antediluvian, Claymore, Perry, Foundry and others.

Forces used were approximately 300 points a side for the fight on the beach, followed by the full lists (around 450 points) as shown below for the battle outside the castle.
