This range of Irish ‘sea devils’ from Alternative Armies drew heavily upon Simon Bisley’s artwork from 200o AD’s Slaine: The Horned God, and is all the better for it. Featuring some stand-out sculpting by Chaz Elliott and Andy Cooper, these minis are an absolute joy to paint. I went for a green-white skintone with lots of bronze armour and blue to give them a feel of the sea.
